The Rotten Apples

The Lacrosse School

Overview of Program

The Lacrosse School will offer a year-round program aimed at providing players with the best opportunity to play at the next level; whether that be Prep School or College (Division I - III including junior colleges/clubs) throughout the US & UK.

This Lacrosse School will focus on both individual player skill development as well as learning team concepts through the Rotten Apples teams.  The focus will not only be on lacrosse.  Players will be mentored, and provided guidance on life-lessons that directly parallel their academic and athletic experiences as “student-athletes”.

We will field teams for Boys & Girls Kindergarten - 12th grades.

Fall Season

The Fall session will focus on team-building, skills, game concepts & awareness, & developing lacrosse I.Q.   We will practice three days per week and enter two tournaments (one local/one travel).

Tuesdays & Thursdays – Decoma Day Camp - Northbrook, IL:  we will practice on grass for a "traditional" style of lacrosse, which will build leg strength, boost our cardio & will force extreme emphasis on sticking to the fundamentals!

Sundays – We will focus more on the full-field game, situational-drills and scrimmaging.

We play in 2-3 events during the Fall Season (Local & Travel)

Winter Season

We will practice twice a week during the winter season.  Practices will be held at Turf Time in Lake Bluff.  The winter season is focused on speed, agility, strength, conditioning and stick work. We'll transition from field to "box" lacrosse, and will be taught the "indoor" game, and the differences in techniques / concepts. We will sharpen our skills and make gains in the off-season to improve our individual and team performance, not only for our program but your 'respective' schools.

We will play in 1-2 Winter events/tournaments: schedule TBD

Spring Season

Our players will be in "season," youth & high school

Summer Season:

The Summer session will include three practices (meetings) per week and three tournaments (1 Local & 2 Travel).  Similar to the Fall session, we will focus on team-building, skills, concepts, and lacrosse I.Q. in preparation for the tournaments & Recruiting Showcases.

We will have two practices during the week at Decoma Day Camp grass fields and one practice on Sundays, depending on our Travel schedule/tournaments!

We will play in 3-4 Tournaments during the Summer Season (Local & Travel); schedule TBD
